Vault gives every hobbyist and investor access to all of collectors’ trusted, industry-leading services through one easy-to-use platform
SANTA ANA, California, July 20, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Collectors announces the launch of Collectors Vault, an all-in-one service that revolutionizes collecting by making it easier than ever to seamlessly authenticate, appraise, research, to store, buy and sell platform.
Collectors Vault combines secure storage with Collectors industry-leading services to create an unrivaled platform for the hobby. For the first time, collectors and investors can submit their items for authentication and grading by PSA and transfer those items directly to the Collectors Vault for safekeeping. Customers will also soon be able to conveniently list their items for sale in the vault on the Goldin Marketplace. Items purchased through Goldin can also be quickly submitted to the Collectors Vault for safekeeping. This one-stop shop caters to the needs of all collectors – casual collectors who own a piece of their favorite player or team, die-hard hobbyists looking to protect their collections, and investors looking to sell their items quickly.
The state-of-the-art Collectors Vault features advanced security features including 24/7 armed guards, Class 3 flashlights and tool-rated UL vault doors, and state-of-the-art seismic motion detectors. Given the vault’s location in Delaware, Collectors will not withhold taxes on orders shipped and stored at the facility. In addition, all collectibles stored in the collector’s vault – regardless of their value – are fully insured free of charge and with no fees or payments.
“There is no one-size-fits-all collector and everyone has slightly different motivations,” said Nat Turner, CEO of Collectors. “Some people want to build collections over the years that have deep personal meaning, while others are looking for the agility to time the market and buy, sell, and trade items quickly. Hobbyists trust collectors because we are collectors ourselves and have decades of authentication experience. Our vault will transform the way people collect by directly connecting our leading PSA, PCGS and WATA services to Goldin’s liquid marketplace, and all through the Collectors.com platform.”
The Collectors Vault is open to rated cards over $100 to ensure the vast majority of collectors can benefit from the new platform. Collectors will accept graded cards for safekeeping at this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention. Visit Collectors booth #2030 or PSA booth #5005 to submit or receive more information.
In addition to the safe, Collectors is also launching several new products today to make it even more convenient for its customers to participate in the hobby, including:
Collector ID: Enjoy a single login and password for PSA, Goldin, Collectors Vault and PCGS.
My collection: Customers can manage their entire portfolio of rated cards in one place. Collectors can add graded cards to their inventory by simply scanning the QR code of their graded cards with their device or searching by certification number.
Collector Estimate: Make informed decisions about buying, selling and trading items with access to real-time appraisals for your collectibles.
Since acquiring it last year, Collectors has invested in innovative tools and technology to grow the business and simplify the collecting experience. The company’s recent funding and strategic acquisitions – including Goldin – have further reduced friction and created a more powerful experience for every hobbyist.
